Peju Adebajo is the Managing Director/CEO Mouka. From 2004 to 2006, Peju was a turnaround CEO of UTC Nigeria Plc a food manufacturing company, and from 2003 to 2004, founding CEO designate of KOWA microfinance bank, a venture sponsored by Fate Foundation and the Ford Foundation.  From 1997 to 2003, Peju was at United Bank for Africa plc.  She started the Strategic Management Division in 1997, and was AGM Product Development in the newly founded UBA consumer bank in 2001 and started the Brand Management and Product Development Division for UBA in 2002. 

From 1994 to 1996, she was a strategy consultant and Qualified Case Leader at the Boston Consulting Group, London, UK and financial analyst at Citibank and Citicorp Investment bank, London, UK between 1988 and 1991.  She is the founder and pioneer CEO of the Mothercare franchise stores in Lagos.

She holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree (Chemical Engineering) from Imperial College of Science & Technology, London, a Master of Engineering (Chemical Engineering), University of London, and Master of Business Administration, Harvard University, Boston, USA.  She is an also alumnus of INSEAD Business school in France. (Advanced Management Program and AVIRA program).

Joseph Ede is the Chief Financial Officer of Mouka. Joseph has a rich International experience, having lived and worked in 18 countries in North America, Europe, the Near /East, the Asian subcontinent, Asia and Africa.  Prior to joining Mouka, Joseph worked in Burkina Faso and the DRC as CFO for Fortune 500 companies operating respectively in the mining and food sectors. 

 

Joseph worked as a Senior Project Manager / Consultant from 2004 to 2011, working on Sarbanes-Oxley implementation and audit projects namely, but also assisting start-ups with establishing business plans and assisting them in procuring financing. 

 

Joseph worked in Luxury Goods and FMCG from 1998 to 2004 for the Swatch Group as Regional VP Finance Asia – Pacific and had P&L responsibility for a Region generating $800 million in revenues.  Joseph also occupied interim General Manager and CFO roles across the Asia Pacific Region.

Joseph holds a MBA from the Advanced Institute of Management, from Nyon in Switzerland. He is also affiliated with the Institute of Internal Auditors in Orlando, Florida, USA and the Sarbanes-Oxley Institute in Washington DC, USA. Joseph also attended seminars on SEC Reporting. Joseph is fluent French, English and German

Jerome Ernstzen joined Mouka Ltd. in 2012, a division of Actis Africa, after spending many years with Steinhoff Africa – a division of Steinhoff International, in virtually all facets of their manufacturing operations within South Africa as an Executive.

Jerome is a Member of the South African Institute for Management Scientists (South Africa – ZA), he has specialised in Operations Manufacturing Management as well as Strategic Business Integration for the past 23 Years. 

Not only has Jerome specialised in Local Markets in South Africa as well as International Markets – Asia Pacific, but holds a strong passion for Emerging Markets in Africa, due to the full complexity of Strategic Business Processes including his ability in vertically integrating managements thought processes into focussed goals in manufacturing flowing into Commercial.

 

Jerome holds a number of Business Qualifications stemming from Industrial Psychology / Psychopathology through to Business Management and Finance, he also holds a Post Graduate Master’s Degree - MBA from Oxford Brookes University (SA/UK), Majoring in Business Operations, Project Management and Global Marketing.

Jerome’s major business strengths are his proven Leadership ability to lead the Operational Functions of the Business, with flexibility in order to move between Strategy and translating this into Operational Plans in order to sustain the Business Strategy and Maximize Profits.

 

Jerome has worked in all facets of Business from Human Resources, Finance as well as Commercial, but his passion remains in Global Emerging Markets – Manufacturing and Commercial.

Jude joined Mouka as Chief Commercial Officer in December, 2009. Jude holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree from the University of Benin and a MBA Specializing in Marketing, from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife. Jude is a member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria and Nigerian Association of Industrial Pharmacists.

Jude brings to his job a strong background as a business manager in various industries with considerable experience in Sales, Marketing, Communications, Customer Relations and Corporate Affairs, spanning over 15 years including Pfizer Global Pharmaceuticals where he was Director of Marketing and Field Force Effectiveness for East, Central and West Africa.

 

Engr Eze joined Mouka in January, 2010 from Vitafoam Plc. Nigeria, where he worked in different functions including Research and Development, Product Development and Manufacturing.  Emmanuel holds the Bachelor of Engineering - Chemical Engineering Degree and MBA, both form the Federal University of Technology, Owerri.  

Emmanuel is a member of the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers. Engr. Eze brings to his job over 15 years relevant experience with strong Technical expertise in PU Foam manufacturing coupled with broad background in Polyurethane mouldings, rigid foam and foam processing technologies.

 

Femi joined Mouka in December,2012 as head of Supply Chain .Femi holds the Bachelor of Science (Chemistry Industrial) from University of Ibadan as well as post graduate program in Supply Chain Strategy (University of Warwick UK).He is a Certified member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supplies (UK).

Femi brings to his job a strong (22years) background , International Trainings /Postings and several implementations of Best Practise in End to End of Supply Chain from PZ Cussons PLC (a multinational FMCG company),where he held various positions, including Head of  Manufacturing, General Manager Logistics, and General Manager Procurement.

 

Boniface joined Mouka Limited in November 2007 as Head, Human Resources and Administration. Boniface holds the Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and a MBA, both from the University of Lagos as well as a Diploma in Marketing, Chartered Institute of Marketing, London.  Boniface is a Fellow Member of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria and Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria.

Prior to joining Mouka Ltd., Boniface had worked with May & Baker Plc. Nigeria, in different capacities including Head, Human Resources and Head of Corporate Planning and Development.

 

Taiwo is the Head of Internal Audit; he holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (Computer Science) from the University of Ilorin.  He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), USA. He is also Certified Informations Systems Auditor (CISA).

His auditing experience spans over 12 years having worked with BDO Oyediran Faleye Oke & Co. (formerly Coopers & Lybrand), Nigerian Bottling Company, Intercontinental Bank Plc and Multi-links Telkom as Head of Internal Audit before joining Mouka Limited in February 2011.
