Mouka Unveils Online Payment Platform

In line with its objective of delivering on its brand promise of adding comfort to life, leading foam and bedding manufacturing company, Mouka Limited has added another innovation to its business practice, in order to meet the challenges of the 21st century consumer with rapidly changing lifestyle and expectations. This innovation will enable its teeming customers to buy Mouka products online from the comfort of their homes and offices. With this development, Mouka Foam becomes the first company within the Nigerian polyurethane industry to achieve this feat.

According to the Head of Commercial, Jude Abonu, the new Online Payment platform offers a unique shopping experience for every customer.  This platform, which will be officially unveiled on July 30 2010, will serve as a virtual Mouka store designed to mirror the experience of a live store with user friendly features. The company will be partnering with Interswitch to ensure a secure and seamless operation of the payment platform.

The Marketing Manager, Ibraheem Ayodeji, further stressed that access to the service is designed to ensure convenience and safety. He explained that ‘all customers need to do is to visit www.mouka.com and click on the ‘shop online’ icon to experience this. This icon will display all the company products (mattresses, pillows, sheeting’s etc.) and detailed product information (benefits, uses, price, size specification, warranty) of each item selected.

Each product chosen goes into the customer’s personal shopping cart to give the total amount to be paid via the company’s secure Interswitch payment platform. A confirmation of the order details and the amount paid is then sent to the customer’s email address immediately. In addition, all purchases will enjoy free delivery within Lagos within 48 hours of order confirmation. Every feature is to ensure that the customer makes the right buying decision suited to his or her needs.’
