Mouka Limited relaunched Mouka Flora and Mouka Legend Mattresses

In our type of environment where the stress level is very high, it is important to remind ourselves of the relevance of sleep and the fact that some of us spend one third of our life sleeping. It is also a proven fact that the quality of mattress you sleep on can determine to a very large extent the quality of your sleep.

Chairman, Mouka Ltd Board of Directors, Adedotun Sulaiman said it seems like only too recent when Mouka Limited ventured into the uncertain terrain of mattress production in the 1970s. This was at a time the Nigerian economy experienced an upswing; buoyed by the discovery of crude oil. Disposable income for many was high, but the desire for locally produced items was not in tandem.

The Managing Director, Peju Adebajo stated that Mouka Flora mattress was launched in the 1970s in an effort to provide Nigerians with an equally good, if not better quality mattress than many imports at the time. Two years later, the brand was warmly embraced by Nigerians who loved and appreciated quality. The level of acceptance enjoyed by the Flora brand necessitated the need to address the increasing demand and changing tastes of the market by introducing Legend mattresses.

According to Jude Abonu, Head of Commercial, we are convinced beyond any shadow of doubt our new Mouka Flora mattress has become the new standard for the youth and young at heart, it will create the much needed ‘comfort zone’ that they retire to each day as they pursue success in all their endeavors. Our legendary brand, Mouka Legend now comes in three exciting colors that allow our more mature and discerning customers to escape from the stress of life and relive and share their comfort experience on a daily basis with their loved ones. He urged the consumers to embrace these refreshed brands of mattresses as you have always done and create that comfort zone of yours while you sleep, play, relax or work.

For over five decades, Mouka has been manufacturing top quality Mattresses, Sheeting, Pillows, Polyurethane blocks and other foam materials for industrial use and home use.
