Mouka presents Prizes to Distributors

Lagos, Nigeria; December 14, 2010:  Many distributors of Nigeria’s leading manufacturers of high quality mattresses, bedding products and other leading edge polyurethane products, Mouka Limited, went home smiling with their various winnings during the Mouka End-of-year Distributors’ Awards.

 

The Award ceremonies which held in Lagos at the NECA Events Centre, Ikeja, Constantial Hotel in Benin and Asaa Pyramid in Kaduna, had distributors from far and wide converging to celebrate twelve months of hardwork, fruitfulness and be recognized for their dedication and continued commitment towards the growth of the company.

 

The Lagos event had in attendance Chief Adedotun Suilaman, Chairman, Mouka Board of Directors, Ngozi Edozien, Managing Director, Actis, West Africa, Hasib Moukarim, representing the Moukarim family, amongst others.

 

Speaking at the event, Mrs. Peju Adebajo, MD/CEO, Mouka Limited, said that the End-of-year Distributors’ Award ceremony is held annually to celebrate and convey the gratitude of Mouka to distributors, reflect on the trials of that year, and forge with a way forward for the following year.

 

In her words, “Many companies have come and gone over the years, but Mouka has remained and one must never be tired of acknowledging the enormous role that our numerous distributors and esteemed customers have played over the last four decades.”

 

“Our numerous awards and industry recognitions showcase the fact that we are a caring business, fully committed to the economic, social and environmental well being of our dear country. As an enduring brand, we constantly seek the input of our loyal partners in the Nigerian Market,” Adebajo said.

 

Two distributors walked away as winners of the Gold category with an all expense paid trip to Dubai for two, LCD Televisions and Plaques, while over 19 distributors were winners of the Silver category with an all expense paid trip to Ghana for two, Deep Freezers and Plaques. 9 distributors also went away with mouth watering gifts in other prize categories as the Most Exclusive Distributor and the Most Improved Distributor, while several others walked away with various gifts for participating in the events’ activities.

 

The Mouka Distributors Award is an annual event that seeks to constantly promote the spirit of teamwork and unity amongst the Mouka distributors network locally and nationwide. Mouka Limited has since 1972 produced high quality mattresses, sheeting, pillows, polyurethane blocks and other foam materials.
